Flying Speakers

Ever wished your home speakers could fly? Okay, probably not but they’ll certainly make an interesting talking point next time you have friends around!

It seems that LG have finally perfected the technology for a levitating speaker (bizarrely, this is something that all of the tech brands have been in a race to create for a while now!). The futuristic egg-shaped speaker floats over a Levitation Station thanks to a set of electromagnets and at its centre has an omnidirectional speaker and embedded subwoofer.

The best bit is that the speaker is waterproof and you can take it outside (it has 10 hours battery life) which makes it perfect for BBQs and picnics in the park. When the battery dies it simply descends back into its base – cute!

We’re still not entirely sure how much this is going to cost but it probably won’t be cheap!
